HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR WOOL BANDANA
1. Washing: gentleness is key
- Wool or delicate cycle: at 20°C max
- Gentle spin (400–800 rpm, no more).
- Ideally in a laundry bag (to prevent it from doing parkour in the drum!).
2. Detergent: special wool recommended
- Use a special wool or very mild detergent.
- No bleach, no fabric softener: your child's bandana feeds only on their drool!
3. Hand wash option
- Soak in lukewarm water
- Gently squeeze, do not wring, rub very gently if there are stubborn stains
- Rinse with lukewarm water
4. Drying
- Do not tumble dry
- Dry flat (on a towel is best!), in the open air, away from radiators and other heat sources.
5. Ironing
- Gentle ironing, inside out, with a cloth between the iron and the bandana. A little steam from a distance is also possible.
6. Pilling
- Some pilling may appear: this is normal, it is a real natural fiber. Gently remove them with a lint shaver or a small special comb.
- Do not pull them off by hand (even if it's satisfying).
7. The magic of wool: antistatic
- Wool is naturally antistatic: it doesn't retain dust or odors! Result: no need to wash after every trip to the park or stroller ride (unless disaster strikes!) Most often, simply air it out well: let it breathe for a few hours and it will regain a true "ready-to-use" freshness.
This is a product designed for children: it's made to live! Well-maintained, it will survive several winters, a few colds, and many fruit purees.
